About Me

I remove the design flaws that make using tech a huge pain in the ass, creating mobile and web apps & sites that end users love.

I've enabled clients with innovative products, quirky brands, and unusual stories to thrive in competitive markets. Starting out, many Small to Medium Sized Businesses (SMB's) have limited financial and technological resources, ambiguous digital marketing strategies, ineffective seo marketing components, and a dearth of knowledge about emergent technologies, especially when it comes to knowing what's available in the market and how its features could benefit them. For the past 8 years, I've work with business owners / members of the board, marketing directors, developers, graphic designers, copywriters, heads of customer support, community managers, volunteers, and others to overcome this challenge.

Involving stakeholders in all stages of the design process, I've helped SMB's align their business and cross-channel marketing strategies. Creating branding style guides, design systems, writing style manuals, ui component libraries, and media kits, I've branded my clients' businesses and products on a number of platforms.

I'm driven by the conviction that products should be designed for everyone who stands to benefit from using them, not just those who have ample time for learning them, highly developed digital literacy skills, and neurotypical brains. I understand the consequences of non-inclusive design all too well. As a woman with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), I've felt dumb, anxious, frustrated, and helpless using new tech. If the product designers had followed web accessibility standards, user-centered design principles, and / or user experience design best practices, I could have been spared those negative experiences.

Unaware of the problems with the technology their

Knowing that some may have needs that are different from my own -- just as I have needs that are different from theirs -- motivates me to research users extensively and enables me to design thoughtfully, coming from a place of respect for the uniqueness of others.
